Henry gets his wheelchair

You may remember that earlier in the year we posted about young Henry. Henry is an 8 year old boy who suffers with a condition called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, this is a life limiting condition with most boys only living into their twenties.

This condition primarily affects the lower body but as the disease progresses it starts to affect the upper body function and vital organs.

We are delighted to announce that due to our matching funding grant award of £6000 and with joint fundraising efforts between Red Eagle, Henrys Family and other local companies and individuals, The Trecknetic GTE has now arrived. This will give henry the freedom to be able to enjoy life to the fullest and keep up with his friends and peers at school due to Henry's muscles getting weaker and more trips and falls happening daily.

The family have been extremely grateful and continued to share the news through their social media as well as local stories being ran by KMTV and other press publication, all of which helped with awareness and fundraising. We wish Henry and his family the best of luck for their future!
