£6,500 raised at Charity Firewalk

What a fantastic night and what a way to raise funds for a much loved children's charity!

45 brave souls took part in the shortest and hottest sponsored walk around, all in the name of raising funds for charity. £4,500 was raised for the Kent Wish Foundation as well as a further £2,000 raised for additional Kent charities at the fantastic Broome Park gardens in Canterbury.

Walkers were led by through a briefing and the event by twice world record holder, Scott Bell who spoke to participants about 'mind over matter' and part of the science behind taking part in the walk.

The highest fundraiser on the day was Wayne Rescorla who raised a whopping £1,300 with 70% going to Ronald McDonald House Charities and 30% going to the Kent Wish Foundation.

A big thanks to our sponsors, Encade Photography for their great photos, Diamond Circle Weddings and Events for lighting up the mansion house which looked great and VideoUK for filming what was a fantastic night.
