The Red Eagle Foundation are delighted to announce Dominic Comins as the charities new CEO with the charity looking to build on a successful period where it has helped to improve the lives of many young children in Kent.
Dominic brings a wealth of fundraising knowledge and event management experience to the charity and along with the board of trustees is excited about the future growth for the charity.
Having raised nearly £500k for charity for previous employers, namely the KM Charity Team, whilst also building up a successful events business, Dominic was seen as the ideal person to help lead the charity into a new decade.
Chair of Trustees for the Red Eagle Foundation, Wayne Hodgson said "Having founded the charity in early 2018 we have already been able to help many disadvantaged children in Kent with learning therapy and specialist equipment to drastically improve their lives. We wanted to accelerate the growth of the charity and dramatically increase the size and scope of the work we do. With Dominic joining as CEO to spearhead fundraising and event management we are confident we can achieve our goals."
Dominic is also a trustee and Chair for the charity the Kent Wish Foundation with Wayne Hodgson joining as Vice Chair, and the two charities will work together on many projects in future.
Dominic says "It is great as there is a synergy between the two charities. We both help children in Kent with life limiting illnesses and by working together we can create a positive outcome for many children on both the medical and the emotional side of their illness. I am so pleased to be able to work for a charity that makes a real and positive difference."
As with all charities, they can only exist with support from local businesses and supporters. If you feel that you can help in any way to make a real difference to a child’s life then please contact Dominic on 07834907700 or firstname.lastname@example.org
